Road bicycle racing is a bicycle racing sport held on roads, using racing bicycles. The term "road racing" is usually applied to events where competing riders start simultaneously (unless riding a handicap event) with the winner being the first to the line at the end of the course (individual and team time trials are another form of cycle racing on roads).

On 28th of April 2009, The Race Boy Team had a meeting John Beasley to discuss regarding the cycling sport here in Malaysia in order how to improve the sport and to which level does it take the athletes. We met at 9am at Majlis Sukan Negara where John is being based as the National Coach for the Malaysian Keirin Cycling Team. The discussion lead to an agreement whereby the facilities in the velodrome needs to be improved and more weekly events needs to be held. Weekly events are the most important thing in order to know one athletes performance and to attract more cyclist into competitions. The reason why Malaysian cyclist are based in Melbourne is because of weekly events can be found and competing every week making more experience for the national riders.The Race Boy is looking to create more awareness for cycling event starting this year and so forth with the help of John Beasley and also the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
